Preschool

Founded in 1968, the preschool offers:

  • A traditional, Christian-based preschool education, serving both the church and community.
  • A good foundation that guides children toward healthy social relationships with others their age and with adults other than their parents.
  • An experience in which development of the whole child is fostered by facilitating social, physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual growth within a Christian atmosphere.
  • A happy school in which children learn and explore at their own pace.
  • A meaningful curriculum aligned with state standards and designed with appropriate learning centers and hands-on motivational activities that build important foundations for future skills.
  • A carefully selected, professional staff with appropriate educational background, early childhood training, teaching experience, and sensitivity to the needs of young children.

Curriculum

Each teacher plans daily objectives, and children have numerous opportunities to explore reading, math, language, science, social studies, Christian values, and socialization skills as part of their preschool experience. In addition, children attend a weekly music class that enhances and further develops these skills as they learn about a wide variety of musical techniques, instruments, song, and dance.
