Celebrate Recovery
Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups?
Are you dealing with hurts, habits, and hang-ups in your life that have left
you without any hope? Are you convinced that change in your life is
impossible? Hurts, habits, and hang-ups...we all have them. But for some
of us, the hurt runs too deep, is too fresh, or just won't go away for good
- no matter what we try. If that describes how you feel - if you think that
change, hope, and healing is beyond your reach - Celebrate Recovery may be
right for you!
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship with others and to use
scriptural principles to allow God's healing power to work in our lives. In
a safe, trusting, and confidential environment, we share our experiences,
our strengths, and our hope with one another. Additionally, we become
willing to accept God's grace in solving the problems in our lives. By
learning and applying the scriptural principles that are the basis of
Celebrate Recovery, we begin to grow spiritually. We gradually become free
from our compulsive, dysfunctional, and addictive behaviors. As we progress
through the program we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher
Power - Jesus Christ. The result is peace, serenity, joy, and most
importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others and with God
through Jesus Christ. After all, Christ is the Great Physician. If
everything else you have tried has failed, why not try Him?
Designed for adults 18 and older, Celebrate Recovery helps deal with low
self-esteem, anger and frustration, depression, drug and alcohol addiction,
eating disorders, child abuse, divorce, sexual abuse, co-dependency,
pornography, grief, loneliness, and other dysfunctional behaviors. It is a
scripturally-based program where hurting hearts find healing in a
confidential setting. Registration is not required - if you would like to
come check it out, you are welcome to do so!
Celebrate Recovery meets weekly on Friday evenings from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.
beginning in Kirsch Hall. There is a time of food and fellowship, worship,
scripturally-based teaching, and confidential sharing in a safe environment.
Child care is available for children 11 or under. For more information,
