Vacation Bible School 2010: "Chase the Light"
June 14-17, 2010

Plan on joining us for our “Chase the Light” VBS this June! We’re going to learn about “The Misfit Brigade”, a group of people who met Jesus, and the stories of their journeys from darkness into light. We are going to look at how their lives changed when Jesus, the Light of the world, stepped into it and how our lives change when we follow after Him.

Here are some important dates to mark on your calendars now:
Sunday April 18, 25 and May 2: Volunteer sign-ups. We need many, many volunteers to have a successful VBS 2010. Teachers, both for preschool and elementary classes, childcare providers, craft leaders, kitchen workers, and sound and media gurus are all needed. Please come to the table in the carpeted hallway between services to sign-up!

Sunday May 9: VBS registration. Children entering Kindergarten in the fall of ’10 through current 6th graders may register for the T, W, and Th VBS (children—and adults—of any age may attend the Family Experience nights). Younger children (preschool and nursery age) may attend VBS only if their parent(s) are VBS volunteers.

Monday, June 14: Your entire family is invited to kick-off VBS with a Family Experience at 7:00 pm in the Worship Center . Come and sing all of our favorite songs and watch a skit that will present our VBS theme for the week.

Tuesday, June 15-Thursday, June 17: Children attend VBS from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Thursday, June 17: The entire family returns to the Worship Center at 7:00 pm to celebrate and review all we learned at VBS 2010.
